Maison Lacroix presented its new stationery, mobile-phone accessories and candle collections to buyers and the international press at this year’s Maison & Objet trade fair.
It’s all fun and games…
This year the theme for the ‘Inspiration’ area of the show – a veritable observatory for future trends in interior decor – was ‘Maison de Jeux’, or ‘House of Games’ – a fun idea dreamt up by star trendsetter Vincent Grégoire, from the Nelly Rodi agency.
“Along with the other members of the Maison & Objet observatory team, I wanted to find a theme that focused more on the living environment, and the ‘House of Games’ theme was the obvious choice.”
“After a long period of minimalism, a new eccentrically decorative approach is emerging,” explained scenographer and trend chaser Vincent Grégoire.
The Lacroix ‘Maison de Jeux’ wallpaper, ‘Fête vos Jeux’ notebook and ‘Maison de Jeux’ box of playing cards were all chosen for display in the ‘Inspiration’ area of the show, whose scenography comprised three ‘boxes’ that opened up to reveal 3 different worlds of games.
