histoires naturelles
With its "Histoires Naturelles" collection of fabrics, wallpapers and decorative accessories published by Designers Guild, Christian Lacroix Maison invites you to plunge into the lush, bucolic world of an erudite botanist's imaginary home. Enter a world steeped in distant travels and the famous treatises of Comte de Buffon, where symphonies of cheerful birds, flowering foliage and lush vegetation enliven the house from floor to ceiling.

The elegant "Coup de Vent" pattern, criss-crossed with young climbing bindweed, reveals its bucolic landscapes in medallions on non-woven wallpaper and delicate sheers. Shaded and undulating, the geometric patterns of the "Pergola Shades" and "Rosée du matin" jacquards elegantly cover the bench and sphere.
Giant mushrooms and dwarf palms stand side by side with fantastic creatures on the extraordinary panoramic "Jardin des Rêves" wallpaper by Christian Lacroix Maison. A reinterpretation of the Maison's iconic stripe, "Cabanon Soft" covers the bench and cushion in soft velvet.
Bindweed, roses and pansies: the sumptuous "Babylonia Nights" wallpaper gives us a glimpse of the flora of a shimmering garden. Also available in fabric, the "Babylonia Nights Soft" motif on the pouffe is adorned with elegant velvet stripes. Inspired by ancient kimono motifs, "Geisha", a luxurious chromatic jacquard, adorns the armchair and curtains.
The "Herbarium" cotton sateen's photographic assemblage of flowers is set against two contrasting backgrounds: "Perce-neige" in white, and "Crépuscule" in black. On the floor, the wool carpet "Bosquet" is adorned with finely chiselled leaves in relief.
Birds from elsewhere, whose colors seem to melt into each other, form the enchanting score of "Birds Sinfonia". Their shimmering plumage is set off by the black background of this "Crépuscule" colorway, signing off this flagship print from Christian Lacroix Maison.
Lush vegetation seems to make its way through the labyrinth of the "Primavera Labyrinthum" wallpaper, while "Arc-en-ciel", a contemporary cotton velvet, covers the chair with its thousand stripes.
