Paradis Barbares
In this "Paradis Barbares" collection of upholstery fabrics, wallpapers and decorative accessories, published by Designers Guild, Christian Lacroix Maison returns to its origins. It pays homage to the artist duo Garouste and Bonetti, who designed the Maison's first Haute-Couture salons. The curves and lines they were so fond of, combined with influences from Mediterranean antiquity and memories of lush Baroque gardens, are the inspirations that have given "Paradis Barbares" a romantic character imbued with plant and mineral elements.

"I wanted this collection to be faithful to the founding principles of the Maison, which, by blending the raw and the sophisticated, created an aesthetic like no other from its very first Haute-Couture presentations."
The flagship design in the "Paradis Barbares" collection, the two-tone panoramic "Bois Paradis" is treated like an ancient fresco. Depicting an original garden with fantastic fauna, this wallpaper by Christian Lacroix Maison transports us into an imaginary and mysterious world.
The delicate beauty of five flowers, chosen for their evocative power, unfolds on this wallpaper from the "Paradis Barbares" collection. Let the poppies, narcissi, lotuses, thistles and dahlias of "Herbariae", engraved in stylized herbarium-style cartouches, decorate your walls.
An elegant jacquard from the "Paradis Barbares" collection, inspired by Persian moucharabiehs, "L'Aveu" embraces the theme of travel, dear to the House of Christian Lacroix since its beginnings.
All the shades of green of the plant world are expressed in the "Cueillette" motif. Printed on soft, satiny cotton, they recall the abundance of spring.
The "Le Pas des Anges" motif, superb cut velvet on a linen ground, seems to form a stone path in the shade of acanthus leaves, while the thistles of the "Les Centaurées" motif, richly embroidered on graphite cotton satin, radiate their shimmering colors.
